Winchester High School runs a WIN (What I Need) Block twice per cycle. During these blocks, students have the ability to sign up for a multitude of events. This makes WIN block scheduling and attendance a dynamic process, while our student information system (Aspen) is a static one. My Flex Learning is a software (web and app based) that was specifically designed for flex blocks like WIN and can work with Aspen to allow students and staff to see in the moment changes during this block. We are asking for this grant to run a proof of concept. The grant will cover the initial start up costs of deploying the software and integrating it with Aspen. It will also cover the seat licenses for all staff and students at WHS for three years (The company has agreed to a reduced seat license price if we commit for 3 years). |
