Summary: This Daily Cafe membership and Intermediate CAFÉ in the Classroom: Helping Children Readers Thrive in Grades 3-6 training DVD will introduce and reinforce the latest researched-based best practices for cross grade level literacy instruction at Lincoln Elementary in classrooms in Grade 4 and Grade 5. It is an all-inclusive, wide-range curriculum designed specifically for daily literacy assessment and instruction. This program will allow teachers to effectively provide the technical expertise necessary for individual students to receive exactly what they need to improve as readers. The website membership will afford continued professional development in varied formats such as articles, professionally edited videos, downloads, lesson plans, and book reviews specifically designed to support Lincoln teachers who desire to incorporate diverse literacy educational concepts and refine their instructional practice. Access to the site will supply a critical tool in updating and supporting conversations with colleagues from all over the world who are implementing “The Café” in their classrooms. The right to use this website will open an avenue of knowledge that supports our educational endeavors. It will provide quality ongoing and updated instructional support of the highest caliber and easiest access.
