The thing that excites me most about having a microphone and speaker is not having to yell to be heard over the noise of the HVAC system! While I am used to it, students and others are not used to it so having a mic for them will be beneficial as well. Speech and language experts say sound systems can help children both with and without hearing impairments. In addition, the library is the meeting place for many. A mic would facilitate better presentations for all. |
