The Creative Technology Center is the WHS Makerspace. Since it's inception, many students have used this creative space to work on individual projects that interest them. Many of the students have taken these interests to fuel their future endeavors. Over the years, we have acquired different equipment in the space which has been stored on shelves and in closets. Which can make it difficult for students and others to see what is available for them in the CTC.
This project would allow us to start creating stations in which all items that you would need for creating and making would be available together. My proposal is to creating a Sewing Station that would contain all of the sewing machines, fabric, and tools. The top of the table would allow you space to design, cut, and sew.
I am excited because it would be the first step in redefining the space for the 2020's and bring more students in to be creative. |
