Thanks to a WFEE grant, McCall Middle School purchased a STARLAB portable planetarium that has been used with great success in our school. We would like to further expand the collection of cylinders so that we can incorporate the STARLAB in more areas of our curriculum. We wish to purchase two additional cylinders: The Moon cylinder can be used by third, sixth and eighth grade science classes and ties in directly with the Massachusetts state frameworks for Earth and Space science. The Greek Mythology cylinder would be used by the 7th grade English teachers for their unit on Greek Mythology. |
