| Summary: |
Storytelling is at the heart of how humans build community. This grant will allow Lynch to capture the power of storytelling to help us transition between spaces and bring our values and shared experiences with us. At this pivotal moment, the grant will allow us to pause and tell our stories to each other and the future Lynch community. We want to seize this moment to create a real life opportunity for Lynch students to learn from a published author, and put that learning into action. On literacy night, we will celebrate our writing and books. Students will also be given the opportunity to create a time capsule. The capsule will include our writings and other artifacts that each class feels is important to Lynch and this period of time. The project will have a positive impact, not only on current Lynch students, but also on future Lynch students when the time capsule is opened at the new school.
