Part II: Grant proposal |
|
Summary: |
I would like to develop and "revamp" the technology that we have in the CTC with this Entrepreneurship Grant. We currently have outdated software for the vinyl cutter, and are low on supplies. There are also new technologies available such as a hat heat press, a mug/tumbler heat press as well as higher end sublimation printers which would allow for transferring images on to fabric. The entrepreneurship program would offer students exciting project-based experiences. Students would learn about the use of high-technology maker equipment, such as vinyl cutters, clothing printers/presses as well as personalized college and/or career advising. Students could work collaboratively to solve problems and succeed in a range of professions.
