The English department would like to invite The Knighthorse Theatre Company located in Situate to perform two Shakespearean pl,ays at the high school. The Website lists the following productions: A Midsummer Night's Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, The Tempest, Macbeth, and Hamlet
We would have one play for grades 9 and 10 and the other for grades 11 and 12. These plays are sudied in our curriculum and seeing them in performance would make Shakespeare come alive. The Knighthorse Theater specializes "in creating original adaptations of Shakespeare: one or two actors on a bare stage with simpled costumes and bare props - playing all the parts.
