We want to take this to the next level and really support teachers on building strong units for their classrooms that include these key components: Social-Emotional Supports and Practices, Performance-Based Assessments, Service-Learning, Multicultural, Inclusiveness, Student Engagement, etc. We will accomplish the goal of embedding these new initiatives through professional development by experts within their areas, collaboration time for teachers, and individualized coaching to support taking the learning to new levels. These goals are especially important giving the social emotional needs of our students, the concerning data being reported by them, and the emerging needs of our community/culture/society.
