I have informal training in data analysis, but I use it more and more often in my teaching and school leadership positions (Faculty Advisory Committee and School Improvement Council). Recently I helped lead the WHS freshmen orientation program and analyzed the qualitative and quantitative data from 300+ students, in order to identify any potential students who may "fall through the cracks."
We plan to expand this program next year, and to incorporate more data collection from all grades and staff. I want to formalize my training in educational data analysis. |
