Summary: |
Cutting Edge Strategies- A Two-Day Intensive Training on Executive Function Skills is a seminar presented by Sarah Ward, M.S., CCC-SLP in Freeport, ME on March 26-27, 2015. This two-day seminar will provide practical, hands-on activities to improve executive function skills in all learners. Executive function skills are essential for all children to be able to initiate tasks, manage their time, plan and organize, and be flexible in their thinking. Activities that will be discussed and taught to participants will be evidence-based and adaptable to all ages and grade levels. During this two-day intensive workshop, we will learn how to teach students the following executive control skills: awareness, forethought, waiting, planning, shifting, pacing, flexibility, processing and metacognition. |
