The idea behind �Beyond the textbook: teaching to the individual student� is designed for students who learn best using a multisensory approach. The program would require 5 IPAD�s as well as �application� money to teach a variety of academic and life skills subjects. I teach 17 students in grades 6-8 with a wide range of disabilities. Although all these students are unique and have different learning styles they could all benefit in some way from the use of an IPAD. The IPAD�s would be used on a daily basis, many times a day. IPAD�s can be used with an individual student, small groups, or whole class when connected to a TV or projection screen. |
