| Summary: |
For the past six years, the Winchester Robotics Club has been providing an excellent opportunity for students to learn principles of engineering through the design and fabrication of robots. The club has been competitive on a national level, building successful 15 lb battling robots for BotsIQ competitions. We now plan to expand this success, adding projects in autonomous robots and other weight classes of battling robots, in order to give students a wider range of experience designing and testing varied robots. The club has been growing over the last few years, and now includes about 25 to 30 regular members. |
