If you can hold it, you can understand. Holding a piece of history is hard and very rare. How well would students be able to understand the lives of the ancient Romans, Greeks Egyptians and Chinese if they could hold and examine something that belonged to those people. Hold something that they had created, imagine how they felt. While we cannot give the students that experience , we can use museum replicas of priceless artifacts to give them the same type of experience. |
