Funding will allow 2 teachers from V.O. to attend a series of 5 classes offered by The Learning Tree, a store dedicated to supporting the work of teachers in the elementary grades. The series of courses is focused on teaching theories of sensory integration and the relationship to the early elementary classroom. Participants will learn hands-on techniques and strategies that encourage learning creatively. The teachers who attend the programs will share the information and hand-outs with the rest of the V.O. teachers so that the techniques can be integrated into every grade level. |
