During our district's next full PD day in November 5, 2024, I would like to have Winchester Social Studies teachers participate in a full-day training with Facing History in order to consider new ideas and strategies to activate students' civic agency. With the increased focus on civics and civics action projects at both the middle school and high school levels, this PD offering will help generate `new ideas and establish some common language and strategies between McCall and WHS teachers to empower students to be changemakers in their community. |
