Summary: |
McCall Geography Night will bring the Winchester community to McCall through innovative collaborations in geography and multiculturalism. The purpose of the evening is to enhance student and community knowledge of geography through engaging and memorable educational experiences. Geography Night was first conceived by Robert Poirier, a geography teacher at North Andover Middle School. Over the past five years with the help of The Massachusetts Geographic Alliance (MGA), “a grassroots organization of hundreds of Massachusetts teachers dedicate to improving geography education in the Commonwealth. . . one of the 50 state geography alliances affiliated with the National Geographic Society” it has grown. Ms. Wolfson feels privileged to have been a part of Geography Night since its inception and now hopes to bring this educational event to Winchester.
