As the WHS Library transitions to a 21st Century environment, I would like to explore the ways that iPads and their associated applications could be utilized to strengthen the library, bring interactivity to library holdings, and help to rebuild the WHS Library as a connected, collaborative learning laboratory. Adding vetted apps and iBooks to the library’s holdings and exploring the collaborative and creative possibilities of iPads will add a ‘new wing’ to our virtual library, support student learning, and increase student engagement. By using one iPad as a pilot project, the Winchester High School community could explore the possibilities of using iPads in the library. |
