Project summary.
This grant will be purchasing artifacts and replicas of items from the cultures studied during the Ancient Civilizations course in sixth grade. The items will be assembled into kits with typed and laminated information sheets for each piece. The will be kept and protected in foam lined carrying cases. The units to be addressed by this grant include a Stone Age unit, a Roman unit and Human Ancestors unit. All items are meant to be displayed, using two ELMO document cameras and then handled by the students.
