We would like to request grant money for recess games and equipment to implement social activities for grades one through five to encourage inclusion of students with social needs with the general population. We plan to do this through structured games and activities that will be co-led by the School Psychologist and Speech/Language Pathologist. Our plan is to open this up to all students. The goal is to provide a structured social opportunity for students with social needs so they can benefit from modeling and practice of social skills in a real setting. We will be looking to purchase games and equipment appropriate for grades one through five that can be used for both outdoor and indoor recess. |
