We would like to attend the ASHA Convention that is being held in Boston in November 2023, as it is the premiere annual event for speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and speech, language, and hearing scientists.
There are approximately 15,000 attendees that attend the annual convention, which is held
throughout the country each year. This opportunity allows the attendees to learn about the latest research, polish clinical skills, improve techniques, and gain new tools and resources to advance professional
development. As certified SLPs in Massachusetts, we are required to obtain 30 contact hours to maintain our national certification and 20 hours to maintain our state license. This is in addition to the 150 hours required for our DESE teacher’s license.
