Title of project: Ceramics Pug Mill
Project manager: Terrence Paul Lannon
School: High School
Curriculum: Art

Part II: Grant proposal

Summary: The clay program at WHS has grown to a point where we now have such a demand for ceramics classes that we need to develop a safer environment for the health of all students, teacher and staff, particularly the custodial staff that cleans the room. I have always been worried about their lungs while maintaining our studios. In the past we have had students have to leave the room due to clay particles in the air. This machine will allow us to have a very healthy environment for all to work in. It will also help in being good stewards of the money the department uses to supply the clay program
