Empowering Writers is a writing curriculum that emphasizes consistent student learning. Specific skills, techniques, and craft are directly taught, modeled, and explored in literature. Having teachers trained in this curriculum would enhance the level of writing instruction in Winchster as well as meet town and state standards. With this grant from WFEE, 25 Winchester Elementary teachers in grades 3- will have the opportunity to learn about this writing program in a hands-on, interactive way. |
