Summary: ISTE is the annual national educational technology conference where educators, technology experts and technology vendors gather for 3 days to view, collaborate and communicate how technology is integrated into the classroom. It offers innovative and inspiring guest speakers, hands-on workshops to experience new technologies or pedagogy, and networking opportunities with educational technology leaders, educators, students and vendors throughout the US. This conference is the ultimate gathering of educators who have a passion for educational and instructional technology to learn the new and innovative technologies and pedagogy in the teaching and learning process for our students from academia across our nation. It is the opportunity for myself and Anna Kerkorian, as computer technology teachers at McCall, to participate in the latest technology and pedagogy that we can integrate into our own classes, but also share with the McCall community especially as the BYOD program is expanded throughout the grade levels of McCall. It is the ultimate educational technology conference recognized globally as the leading edge for our field. Through professional development within McCall and the Winchester district we intend to share what we will experience with our colleagues.
