Applicant and Project Information   Title of project: Library Media Project manager: Mary Hollis-Pfeifer School: Lincoln Curriculum: ELA   Part II: Grant proposal   Summary: My goal is to begin a study of Library Media at Salem State College. Currently third grade students at Lincoln are scheduled for two forty-minute library periods a month. Parents are organized to share a read aloud with the students and then assist them with the returning and checking out of books. My course of study is not intended to negate the need for a school librarian or minimize the value of parent support.
